From Bodfari to Prestatyn

Coming all too soon for most walkers this is the last section of the Path. Sometimes this northern end of the trail is said to be boring, but that cannot be said if one takes a closer look on this stage. The last leg also has its share of hill north of the Clwydian Range and it shows a great variety that rivals every other section concerning this point.

The final stage leads you through meadows and hills. The landscape is smoother than the days before but it is again typical Welsh in character. Highlights on this section are the numerous views to the coast before you and faraway Snowdon behind you.
All in all today´s leg is a fitting end to the Offa´s Dyke Path although the pleasure of walking the Dyke is just as great if you walk it the other way round, from northern Prestatyn to southern Chepstow.
