From Chirk Mill to Llandegla

While the Dyke today goes off northward into the industrial region round Wrexham the Path goes north-west and high above Llangollen. It then crosses the screes of the Eglwyseg and the moors at the watershed between Dee and Clywedog. This is varied leg and ... well you´ve had smooth going for the last days so let´s says it is time for a bit of exercise which you will get today.

The moor´s solitude is characterising for today´s walk though there are also descents to River Dee. But while you have to go down sometimes you will also have to ascend again and this is what makes today a bit strenuous. But you will be rewarded, be sure of that.
One highlight of today is the possibility to cross Pont Cysyllte, an aqueduct over the Dee Valley by boat or on foot. But if you are scared of heights you might want to take the official way down below.
