From Llanymynech to Chirk Mill

This section which covers former mining areas and superb stretches of the Dyke. It allows a spectacular view from Moelydd, a former racecourse by the middle of the day. While the going again is not too demanding there are certain highlights you shouldn´t miss.

Whether you find the mining areas near Llanymynech and Nantmawr, which first exploitations dates back to prehistoric times, more interesting or Castle Oswestry and the Candy Woods (through which the description of a circular walk is provided) is surely for you to decide. But there is definitely something worth discovering today.
