From Bolton-on-Swale to Ingleby Cross

This leg is characterized by the passage through farming fields which link the two villages. There is a variant sketched out which leads mostly over roads and has as its only merit the virtue of speed.

Today gives you more of the pleasures of easy, rural walking at the feet of the Cleveland Hills. By reaching Ingleby Cross you also reach the third of the three great differing landscape of the Coast to Coast Path: the North York Moors.
