From Osterode to Buntenbock
This tour of Hexenstieg starts on Hundscher Weg. The path is very old along which ore was transported back in the Middle Ages.
We continue up the first rolling hill before leading through Eselplatz in the direction of the Clausthaler Hochebene plateau.
Following the trail on to Marienblick we cross the picturesque Lerbach area. Here you have a magnificent view of Lerbach valley to Marienblick.
The route passes through beech and pine woods ending in Buntenbock. During the summer you will find many small lakes surrounding this town and offering plenty of bathing opportunities.
