From Kestert to Osterspai
This is another stage with lots of picturesque views of the Rhine and numerous castles. The obligatory climb after the start is followed by a wonderful view at the Hindenburghöhe.
A view down at the slope of Kamp
The way passes two neighbouring castles also known as the "hostile brothers”: Liebenstein and Sterrenberg castles. After crossing the Bornhofer Bach valley there is another steep climb to the plateau and the "Alley of the Trees”. Great views down to Kamp-Bornhofen and Boppard accompany you on your way along the heights.
The greens of Osterspai
Near the end of the stage, the course of the Rhine describes two narrow and spectacular bends. During your steep descent down to Filsen and finally to Osterspai, you can repeatedly admire this scenery from the edge of the slopes.
