From Bielefeld to Oerlinghausen
From Sparrenburg castle you continue the Hermanns' Walk along one of Bielefeld's many green paths - the Promenade. This takes you uphill to a popular Inn at Habichtshöhe. With a constant change of uphill and downhill passages the path remains on the Teutoburg Forest's ridge and leads you through extensive woodlands.
On your way to Oerlinghausen you find Europe's largest gliding field as well as a very good open-air museum. From here you have wide views of the surrounding Senne landscape.
