Your walking path: Home  > Germany  > Franconia  > Loffeld / Scheßlitz

From Loffeld to Scheßlitz

After a steep climb through the forest, the path returns to the wooded plateau of the Franconian Alb once more. During this comparably level stage the route mostly travels along the edge of the Alb.

After about a third of the leg you can take an excellent panoramic view at the Küpser Linde which is followed by a very nice passage through deciduous wood at the edge of the plateau.

The path passes a modern cloister and a few villages as the passages through both wood and meadows alternate. At the end of this stage, beautiful old half-timbered houses await you at Scheßlitz.
