The Donkey´s Way (Eselsweg)
The Eselsweg takes you 111 km (70 miles) through the beautiful Spessart - today, Germany´s greatest forest. It leads from the Hessian village Schlüchtern to Grossheubach next to Miltenberg in Bavaria. Most of the trail takes you through old beech- and oak woods - timber of the highest quality, which is traded throughout the world.
