Walking the Donkey Way with walk-in-europe.com
The Donkey´s Way (Eselsweg) is the long-distance path that runs through the beautiful Spessart forest, Germany's largest coherent woodland area. It meanders predominantly through old woods , rich in high quality beeches and oaks as well as numerous stories of elder times.
walk-in-europe.com´s Track Pack contains introductory descriptions into the path, that even in ancient times already was in use as a trail for salt carrying caravans through the deep woods. This is combined with sketches and altitude profiles (b/w) of each stage. The main body of the Track Pack consists of an annually revised accommodation guide for the whole of the Donkey´s Way.
